One of the best teachers I’ve ever had. Her approach to the language is something new to me. Instead of a bunch of theory that you first have to understand, then memorize, and only then try to apply—here, it’s the exact opposite. It’s as if the big picture comes first, and then the details follow. Because of this, a structure immediately forms in your mind, and you gain a real understanding. It’s not just “this is how it’s done, memorize it,” but rather the feeling that you’re actually starting to understand the language. Plus, the atmosphere in class is warm and friendly—it’s easy to fit in, it’s not scary to make mistakes, and it even makes you want to speak more!
